Adjust a Posted Transaction in the Expense App (For Users)

As a user, you can easily adjust a recorded transaction before saving and submitting your report. Follow the steps below to make the changes correctly.

1. Open the Expense app

Navigate to To Report to view your drafts or ongoing reports.

2. Go to the report

Select the report you want to work on from the list.
Click to open it and see an overview of its contents.

3. Review and adjust the transaction

Click on the transaction (e.g., a receipt) you want to adjust to view the accounting details.
To return to the overview, click the X icon at the top.

4. Delete and rebook the transaction

If you need to redo a booking:

  • Click the three dots (•••) in the transaction view.

  • Select Delete booking.

  • Rebook the transaction:

    • Choose the correct account, or use the quick options under Purchases.

    • Make sure the correct VAT rate is entered.

    • Click Save when finished.

5. Adjust representation (if applicable)

If the transaction relates to representation, select the correct template and fill in:

  • Number of participants

  • Names of participants

  • Purpose of the representation

  • Company name (for external representation)

6. Submit the report

Once all adjustments are complete and everything looks correct, click Submit.

If you encounter error messages or app issues

If you experience problems such as error messages or crashes:

  • Go to the app settings and click Clear cache.

  • Make sure you’re using the latest version of the app:
